Nant-y-Cwm, founded in 1979, is one of over 875 Steiner Waldorf Schools - the largest independent educational movement in the world. Our warm and friendly school is located in a wooded valley beside the Eastern Cleddau river in rural Pembrokeshire. We are about 15 minutes from Narberth, 40 minutes from Carmarthen and 30 minutes from Haverfordwest. We have around 45 pupils on roll from Parent and Toddler to age 14. Education at Nant-y-Cwm fosters the healthy development of each individual child, enabling them to reach their potential and to develop the skills they need to contribute to society and the world around them. We take ‘emotional intelligence’ and the development of communication and interpersonal skills for life seriously.
